Welcome!
When we are focused on balancing and integrating our
mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual lives, we often find
it helpful to hear from others on the journey. Our deepest questions
may be articulated by others. We may feel less alone, and more
connected to those around us in meaningful ways.
It
is my hope that the words of this occasional letter will touch
your life and heart- that you will see how a life of more awareness
leads to a life of healing the deepest hurts- a life of compassion
for self and others, and a life worth living! You are invited to share your insights, questions, and requests
for future articles.

Fresh Perspectives |
|
We all know what resistance, or attachment, feels like. I often use the image of Velcro when I think of my own attachments;the stronger the attachment, the heavier grade of Velcro.
My “baby” book is bringing numerous opportunities for me to notice how strongly velcroed I am—to whether people buy it or not, to whether it is helpful, to any ideas I may have about how easy or difficult it is for me to promote the book, and especially to ideas that arise about any kind of promotion of a so-called “spiritual” book at all!
A fresh perspective about this newsletter has evolved since the birth of the book. It’s time to say goodbye to it. Although I have deeply appreciated my connection with readers, a place to express my writing skills, and the fun I’ve had learning to work with the nuts and bolts of online publishing, it is time to move on to a wider audience, the world of blog!
Some of you may remember I tried blogging for a while. What you probably don’t know was that my blog site became part of an online illicit gambling group and when I found out, I crashed the site. Recently, a friend told me about a more protected kind of blogging and I will be subscribing to www.typepad.com in the New Year. I will be joining many authors who help promote their books in this way. There will be a link from my website, of course. Look for it in late January, early February.
I will be writing new stuff and replaying some old stuff for my new expanded audience. I’m also going to include direct links to websites I have found helpful, and to people I value in my life. I hope you will check it out and give me your support by telling others about it, and giving me feedback, as I explore this new terrain.
Thank you for being there, and reading my stuff. I hope my writing continues to be useful for you.
